In order to further implement our open education strategy,promote our education in line with international standards, and enable more students to obtain overseas learning experience, we are now selecting outstanding undergraduates from the class of 2018 and 2019 to participate in the Visiting Student Program,since we have cooperated with the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).
Overview
1. Major: majors related to Economics and Management
2. Time duration: 1 academic year
3. Time of departure: August 2020
4. Tuition fee and living expenses in theU.S.: about 400,000 yuan
5. The undergraduates from the class of 2018 and 2019 ofSMSEgo abroad to study the same orrelated majors as in SDUFE, and can get credits of UCSB after passing the exams. According to Regulations of Administration of Overseas and Outbound Study of Undergraduate Students of Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Regulations ofAdministration of Credit System for Undergraduate Students of Shandong University of Finance and Economics (Trial),students have to return to SDUFE to complete the credit transferring.
6. After the visiting program, students can voluntarily apply to continue their study in UCSB. And they can get bachelor degrees of both UCSB and SDUFE after passing the exams and meeting other requirements about credits.
7. UCSB may choose online education considering the impact ofCOVID-19.
