Degree Granting

After gaining required credit points and passing oral defense, students will be granted a logistics project master’s degree, and a postgraduate diploma.

Management Science and Project Master

Theprogram was authorized to grant a master's degree in July 2003. Previously, the postgraduate program was assigned to business management program (computer focus) from April 1996.

Learning Goals

The program will allow students to develop morally, intellectually, and physically in an all-round way, becoming high-end talents in information and management who master the theory and methods of management science and project, and computer science. By systematic learning and practicing, program graduates will be capable of solving management problems by individual exploration or collaborative research, utilizing basic theory of the subject, IT methods, and technology in specialized areas. They will demonstrate outstanding abilities of thinking, expressing, writing, organizing and creating, competent for high-end management work and research in government offices, medium-large enterprises, colleges and universities, and research institutions.

Majors and Focuses

Thesubject includes 4 programs, namely information management and information system, e-commerce, management science, and logistics management and project.

1. Information management and information system (code: 1201Z1)

Focus:

a) Information management and information system project, focusing on information strategy theory for businesses, information system management and innovation, software architecture technology,software component technology, and web service.

b)Information accounting and decision-making, focusing on accounting decision-making, accounting information system, and accounting decision-making platforms.

2. E-commerce (code: 1201Z2)

Focus:

a) E-commerce theory and technology research, focusing on e-commerce security system, IoT and e-commerce on mobile devices, business modeling, optimizing and evolution, service retrieval and personalized recommendation in e-commerce.

b) Big data and business analysis, focusing on big data analysis and mining, user behavior and business analysis against Internet backdrop, and big data platform development and management.

3. Management science (code: 1201Z3)

Focus:

a)Management science theory and methods, and its application to managing regional economic growth, industries and businesses.

b)Financial system and management, focusing on solving financial problems through math and computer science, while doing quantitative and technological analysis.

4.Logistics management and project (code: 1201Z4)

Focus:

a) Logistics system optimization, focusing on model and algorithm of logistics system optimization, regional logistics planning, and logistics emergency management.

b)Supply chain management, focusing on supply chain design, supply chain storage optimization, supply chain collaboration mechanism, closed-loop supply chain and dealing with uncertainties
